In Cars 2 Lightning McQueen is racing in the first ever World Grand Prix. Number 95 Lightning McQueen is still a hotshot racecar, but his rookie days are past him. Now a permanent resident of Radiator Springs, Lightning has become a worldwide celebrity and winner of four Piston Cups. After his latest win, Lightning McQueen returns home to enjoy life with his girlfriend Sally, best friend Mater and the rest of his Radiator Springs family. He's best friends with Mater.

Radiator Springs was founded by a steam car named Stanley in 1909, and a statue of him is outside the town courthouse. Later, Stanley married Lizzie. After Stanley died, more people came to live in Radiator Springs, and the town grew. It was a popular rest area where almost all cars would stop to shop and fill their gas tank. However, in the the early 1960's, Interstate 40 was built near Radiator Springs, which greatly decreased traffic for Radiator Springs, since the Interstate bypassed the town. In 2006, famous racecar Lightning McQueen destroyed the town's main road in a hurry to get to a Piston Cup race in Los Angeles, California, and was arrested for 5 days to fix the road. Lightning soon became friends with the Radiator Springs populace, and after his race, he set up a racing headquarters in the town, and the town started to grow again.

The World Grand Prix Racers appeared in Cars 2. The racers are chosen by Miles Axlerod to promote his new wonder-fuel Allinol. The competition unites the best athletes of all race types from all over the world to determine the world's fastest car. Though there are 12 spots in each race, there is actually an odd number of 11 racers. Unlike for the other racers, the paint job of Lightning McQueen, Lewis Hamilton and Nigel Gearsley are not colored after their respective country's flag. However, Gearsley bears the British racing green. McQueen and Hamilton bear their personal colors. It can also be noted that the main color of Max Schnell and Jeff Gorvette, respectively purple and yellow, is not a color of their country flag, which is included in their design however. Some racers bear their racing league logo. Lightning McQueen is for the Piston Cup, Francesco Bernoulli for Formula Racer, Raoul ÇaRoule for the GRC, and Max Schnell for the WtcL. It can be noted that all are allusions to real racing leagues. Suprisingly, Rip Clutchgoneski is the only racer who is not seen with a pit crew chief.

Racing Wheels Synthetic Rubber Tires Kmart exclusive Lightning McQueen diecast Cars

"Kmart exclusive synthetic rubber tires Lightning Mcqueen"

Hello Disney Pixar Fans, it's your friend blucollection here showing you 2 great die-casts from the Disney Pixar film CARS 2. This is "Lightning Mcqueen with racing wheels" and "Lightning Mcqueen with synthetic rubber tires" exclusive from Kmart , They are both 1:55 scale die-casts.

Lightning McQueen typically referred to by his surname McQueen, is a rookie racecar. He is named after Glenn McQueen, a Pixar Animator who died of melanoma in October 2002, although the car shares certain traits with actor and race car driver Steve McQueen. His overall profile was inspired by stock cars. His number, 95, is a reference to the year Pixar released its first feature-length movie, Toy Story. His catch-phrase is "ka-chow". Lightning McQueen also appears in every episode of Cars Toon Mater's Tall Tales available in blu-ray and dvd as the one who Mater always tells his story to, though Lightning never believes him.
In the beginning of the first Pixar film Cars, Lightning McQueen is a talented yet overconfident, self-centred rookie race car, especially towards his pit crew. He hopes to be the first rookie to win the Piston Cup race and gain a lucrative endorsement deal from Dinoco Oil in the final race of the season, he had full potential to achieve this but then he finishes in a three-way tie with perennial runner-up Chick Hicks and veteran Strip "The King" Weathers after losing his huge lead on the final lap because of two blown rear tires. McQueen also wanted the Dinoco deal because of his dislike to his somewhat awkward Rust-Eze sponsorship and the rusty cars within it. His own choice to force Mack to travel all night to L.A. sets up the predicament he suffers throughout the film. After a chain of events awakens Lightning from sleep and inadvertently releases him from his trailer, he gets lost in Radiator Springs on his way to California. While he is punished for excessive speeding by doing community service to fix the main road, he meets new friends who seek to restore their town to its former glory. It is there he befriends Mater and falls in love with the town attorney and hotelier, Sally Carrera. He changes his look at the end of the movie to help out the townsfolk, and his appreciation for his benefactors is restored. He learns valuable lessons such as true friendship; how greed affects others; keeping promises; teamwork; and that life is about the journey, not the destination. These values lead him to rejuvenate Radiator Springs back to its heyday and relocate to the town forever to make it his racing headquarters.
After Hicks rams Weathers in the final tie-breaker Piston Cup race, McQueen stops on the finish line and reverses to help push Weathers the rest of the way across the finish line, allowing him to complete his last race and retire with dignity, much to the crowd's pleasure, and this proves McQueen's positive change in character from what he learnt in Radiator Springs. McQueen is offered the Dinoco sponsorship, but declines it to remain with the team who gave him his big break.
In the second film, Relampago McQueen is now a permanent resident of Radiator Springs and has become a bona fide worldwide celebrity winning four Piston Cups. After his latest win, McQueen expects to relax with Sally, Mater and the other residents of Radiator Springs when he gets himself entered into the first ever World Grand Prix, a three-part race that takes him and his best friend around the world.
McQueen has a fresh custom paint job and real working headlights, since he only had stickers in the first film. His tailfins have also been replaced with a spoiler. Flash Rayo McQueen is unaware that the race is all a plot by a group of "lemon" cars to make cars everywhere run on oil until Professor Zundapp, captured by Finn McMissile and Holley Shiftwell, questions why McQueen was not killed by the death ray and Mater exposes Miles Axlerod as the mastermind behind the plot.

Sally with Cone die-cast World of Cars Mattel Disney Pixar exclusive

Hello Disney Pixar Fans, it's your friend blucollection here showing you 2 great die-casts from the Disney Pixar film CARS 2. This is exclusive die-cast of Sally called "Sally with cone" She is a 1:55 scale die-cast.

Sally Carrera (voiced by Bonnie Hunt) is a royal blue 2002 Porsche 911 Carrera. Her California license plate number is 301PCE. She also appears in the Cars video game, in which she is a playable character. Sally, a baby blue Porsche 911 Carrera, is the proprietor of Radiator Springs Cozy Cone and Wheel Wagon Motels.

Sally, Lightning McQueen's love interest, is the snazzy town attorney of Radiator Springs. She always calls Lightning "Stickers" because Lightning's headlights are really stickers. At the end of the film, Sally becomes Lightning's girlfriend. Sally's tattoo pinstriping is left over from her early days. Though she's a little embarrassed by it now, it serves as a reminder of her high-speed life in California and how happy she is to be cruising in the slow lane. Sally reappears in Cars 2 with her and McQueen now in a relationship, but her role in the film is drastically limited as she only appears in the beginning and end of the film. When Lightning commits to racing in the World Grand Prix the same night of his return, Sally remains steadfastly supportive of her star racecar. She even convinces Lightning to take his best friend Mater along for the ride of a lifetime. Though Sally stays behind in Radiator Springs, even she lights up for the open-wheeled racing cars from Europe -- but only Lightning truly makes her motor purr.

Sally grew tired of her life in the fast lane as a high-powered attorney in Los Angeles and made a new start in the small town of Radiator Springs. Charming, intelligent, and witty, she became the town attorney and the car most dedicated to preserving the town's historical beauty. She bought the Cozy Cone Motel and restored it back to its original condition and has no plans of stopping there. She'd fix the whole town building by building if that's what it took."

Blowing Bubbles MATER die-cast Cars Final Lap Pixar Collection Martin

Hello Disney Pixar Fans, it's your friend blucollection here showing you another great diecast from the Disney Pixar film CARS. This is #99 die-cast of "blowing bubbles Mater" from Cars Final Lap collection.

Tow Mater, better know as simply Mater or Martin, is the main protagonist in Cars 2. He also appears in his very own 10 short series Cars Toons Mater's Tall Tales as the main character available in blu-ray and dvd. His best friend is Lightning McQueen. Mater also likes to go Tractor Tippin' at night, that's his favorite hobby. Mater's catchphrases are "Dad gum!" and "Git-R-Done!" (his voice actor, Larry the Cable Guy's signature phrase). His license plate reads "A113." Mater runs "Tow Mater Towing and Salvage." Along with the first film, he also stars in an animated short "Mater and the Ghostlight" and acts as an announcer in the Cars video game. His name comes from "tomater", a slang term for Tomato.

Mater has lived in Radiator Springs his whole life. In his younger days, he used to be a real handful around town, playing pranks on everyone, tippin' tractors, saying inappropriate things at the wrong time, but luckily he's matured a lot since then. He runs Tow Mater Towing & Salvage and manages the local impound lot. Though a little rusty, he has the quickest towrope in Carburetor County and is always the first to lend a helping hand. Mater sees the bright side of any situation. He's the heart and soul of Radiator Springs, and he doesn't have a mean bolt in his chassis. Mater is a friendly tow truck with buckteeth. He speaks with a thick Southern redneck accent with a dash of hillbilly twang and frequently uses incorrect syntax. Mater is one of the first to befriend and support Lightning throughout his adventure in Radiator Springs. During the film, Mater shows Lightning how to do Tractor Tippin' and how to drive backwards without crashing by using rearview mirrors, which Lightning uses to counter Chick Hicks' dirty racing in the Piston Cup race. In the end, Lightning gives Mater an opportunity to fly in a Dinoco helicopter like he always wanted, saying to Sally that Mater is his new best friend. Mater is also capable of racing, as well as being the (self-proclaimed) world's best backwards driver. He attributes his skill to his rear-view mirrors and his own philosophy: "Don't need to know where I'm going, just need to know where I've been."

Mater's color was originally baby blue, as shown in a flashback; however, over the years, he has rusted into a patchwork light brown/orange color, with some of the blue still showing through. He is missing his hood and his left headlight (in the short Mater and the Ghostlight, he trembles so much, his right headlight comes loose). In the credits he managed to fish his hood (which has more of its original color on it than the rest of Mater does) from a cliff up in Tailfin Pass, but then sneezed, causing it to fall back down the cliff. His license plate number is A113; the passenger locomotive which nearly crashes into McQueen before his initial entry into Radiator Springs bears the same number on its identification plates. His final personality was based on his voice actor, Larry the Cable Guy, and he uses many of Larry's catchphrases, including "Git-R-Done" during the final race sequence and "I don't care who you are; that's funny right there" during the tractor tipping scene, among others.
Mater speaks with a thick Southern redneck accent with a dash of hillbilly twang and frequently uses incorrect syntax. Mater is also capable of racing, as well as being the (self-proclaimed) world's best backwards driver. He attributes his skill to his rear-view mirrors and his own philosophy: "Don't need to know where I'm going, just need to know where I've been."

Race Damaged Mood Springs Final Lap die-cast Cars racer Collection

Hello Disney Pixar Fans, it's your friend blucollection here showing you another great diecast from the Disney Pixar film CARS. This is #144 die-cast of "race damaged mood springs" from Final Lap collection. His name is Chuck Armstrong.

Chuck Armstrong is racer #33, he always had a slight allergy to certain fuels. As a result those fuels make it a little difficult for him to be within a five foot radius of them. Once he started racing professionally, not only did the problem not go away, it actually got worse at high speeds. It got so bad the other cars didn't want to pass him. Chuck hopes he's a good example of how a problem can be an asset." Chuck races for the team "Mood Springs".

Cars is a 2006 American animated family film produced by Pixar and directed by John Lasseter and co-directed by Joe Ranft. It is the seventh Disney·Pixar feature film, and Pixar's final, independently-produced motion picture before its purchase by Disney.

The film begins with the last race of the Piston Cup championship, which ends in a three-way tie between retiring veteran The King Strip Weathers, runner-up Chick Hicks, and rookie Lightning McQueen. The tiebreaker race is scheduled for one week later at the Los Angeles International Speedway. Lightning is desperate to win the race, since it would allow him to leave the unglamorous sponsorship of Rust-Eze, a rust treatment for old cars, and allow him to take The King's place as the sponsored car of the lucrative Dinoco team. Eager to start practice in California as soon as possible, Lightning pushes his big rig, Mack, to travel all night long. While McQueen is sleeping, the exhausted Mack drifts off and is startled by a gang of reckless street racers, causing McQueen to fall out the back of the truck into the road. McQueen wakes in the middle of traffic, and speeds off the highway to find Mack, ending up in a run-down town of Radiator Springs and inadvertently ruining the pavement of its main road.
After being arrested and impounded overnight, McQueen is ordered by the town's judge and doctor, Doc Hudson, to leave town immediately. The local lawyer Sally Carrera insists that McQueen be given community service to repave the road, to which Doc agrees. McQueen tries to repave it in a single day, but it turns out to be shoddy and McQueen is ordered to repave the road again, which takes several days to complete. During this time, he becomes friends with several of the cars, and learns that Radiator Springs used to be a popular stopover along U.S. Route 66, but with the construction of Interstate 40 bypassing the town, it was effectively taken off the map. McQueen also discovers that Doc is really the Fabulous Hudson Hornet, a three-time Piston Cup winner who was forced out of racing after an accident and quickly forgotten by the sport. McQueen finishes the road, which has invigorated the cars to improve their town, and spends an extra day in town with his new friends, before Mack and the media descend on the town, led by a tip to McQueen's location. McQueen reluctantly leaves with the media to get to California in time for the race, while Sally chastises Doc after discovering that he had tipped off the media to McQueen's whereabouts, not wanting to be discovered himself instead.

This is a 2006 Disney Pixar Cars Rollin' Bowlin' Mater from the ULTRA RARE Factory sealed Master Set. Tow Mater, better know as simply Mater or Martin, is the main protagonist in Cars 2. He also appears in his very own 10 short series Cars Toons Mater's Tall Tales as the main character available in blu-ray and dvd. His best friend is Lightning McQueen. In the second film, Mater is thrilled to join McQueen on a trip around the world after getting him into the first annual World Grand Prix, leaving Radiator Springs for the second time. When McQueen and his pit crew arrive in Tokyo, Mater learns that the world outside of Radiator Springs is quite different and he's also mistaken for an American spy, leading him into an adventure of espionage. Caught between helping McQueen and his new role as a spy, Mater gets involved in a chase across the globe between British spies and international villains. In this film, the "Tow Mater" logo on his side has been replaced with McQueen's 95. At the end of Cars 2, Mater figures out that the World Grand Prix is all a plot orchestrated by Miles Axlerod to force cars everywhere into using the richest oil in the world. This exposition leads Axlerod and his henchmen to be arrested and Mater is knighted by the Queen as a result. Holley and Finn visit Mater in Radiator Springs, where they try to recruit him for another mission, but he declines. Then, like with Tex and McQueen in the first movie, they ask if there's anything they can do for him; he's later seen using the rocket boosters. His catchphrase is dad-gum.

In Cars 2 Lightning McQueen is racing in the first ever World Grand Prix to determine who's the world's fastest car. But the road to the championship is filled with plenty of potholes, detours, and hilarious surprises. Number 95 Lightning McQueen is still a hotshot racecar, but his rookie days are past him. Now a permanent resident of Radiator Springs, Lightning has become a bona fide worldwide celebrity as winner of four Piston Cups. After his latest win, Lightning McQueen returns home to enjoy life in the slow lane for a while with sweetheart Sally, best friend Mater and the rest of his Radiator Springs family. His off-season is unexpectedly cut short when Mater inadvertently prompts Lightning McQueen to enter the World Grand Prix, a high profile, three-part exhibition race that will take him around the globe. With a fresh custom paint job and real, working headlights, Lightning McQueen sets off to Japan, Italy and England with Mater in tow for the adventure of a lifetime. But competing against the fastest cars in the world tests more than his racing skills when Lightning realizes his wide-eyed best friend may not be the pit chief nor ambassador he needs to navigate the unfamiliar international terrain. His racing number, "95" is a reference to the year 1995, when Pixar's first feature-length film, Toy Story was released. Originally, his number was going to be 57, which is the year John Lasseter was born. Lightning Relampago Mcqueen have been released in Cars, Cars Toons and Cars 2 Diecast series. He's best friends with Mater.

One of the rare cars on display is the "Apple Car" also called "Mac iCar" a white car #84 with a silver Mac apple on its hood. Also the "blu-ray Dinoco Lightning Mcqueen" and the exclusive "silver Lightning Mcqueen Pixar Motorama".
The "Cars 2" die-casts are 1/55 scale, larger than most diecast cars, which are 1/46 in scale, to more accurately capture the facial expressions, personality and character details, and smaller than 1:43 scale from Disneystore.

They have many of the released Mattel die-casts from Cars, Cars Toon and Cars 2 including Rip Clutchgoneski, Leland Turbo, Mater disguised as Ivan Mater, convoy brothers, R.V., clown cars, Kimura Kaizo, Derek decals dobbs, Syd VanderKamper, Trev Diesel, John Lassetire red pick-up truck, Albert Hinkey, Lizzie, Stanley, Bessie, Janne Flash Nilsson, Fernando Alonso, Mark Frosty Winterbottom, Vitaly Petrov, Memo Rojas Jr, just to name a few.

- Diorama Movie Scene Recreations featuring Cars vehicles: Hundreds of die-casts representing the many beloved characters from Cars, Cars Toon and Cars 2 -- from McQueen to big-wheeled Haulers and their racers.

- Rare and Never-Before-Seen Cars Vehicles: Highlights of some of the most exclusive and never released Cars die-cast. Each display also features behind-the-scenes stories that make these collectibles so rare.

"Lightning Storm Mcqueen" - 2008 Comic Con exclusive
"John Lassetire" - red chief pick-up truck with Hawaiian print design with surf board in the truck bed.
"Apple Mac iCar" - rarest diecast form 2008 tribute to Apple co-founder Steven Jobs
"Trev Diesel" - Trev Diesel is the train that Lightning McQueen nearly runs into, just before he comes across Radiator Springs.

- Evolution of Cars Die-cast Packaging: Display features the evolution of the Mattel product packaging from the original Cars design Radiator Springs 2006, to around the world 2010

• Cars Super Chase Die-cast Collection: a first look at Mattel ultra-exclusive 2012 line of die-cast cars that will feature limited-run vehicles of very special Cars 2 characters. Display will include first Super Chase diecast vehicle to launch called "super chase Flash" named after Swedish racer Jan Flash Nilsson. Flash, the Swedish racer, will be the very first Super Chase vehicle available in spring 2012. There will be three additional "Super Chase" vehicles throughout 2012 -- all, never before released in diecast. Each of these 1:55 scale die-cast vehicles will feature a unique character in its own packaging with $3.99 retail price
